Our members in Zion seem truly happy. Everyone faces hardships while living in this world, yet we remain joyful and overcome our difficulties because we have the hope of going to the kingdom of heaven, a place overflowing with joy. When we have a bright future and hope before us, life becomes joyful and we are filled with strength.
When we watch the news, we see wars, earthquakes, various climate-related disasters, and countless accidents and disasters occurring throughout the world. It seems that far more events give us cause for despair than hope for the future.
My heart aches for those who helplessly fall victim to disasters. I often think, “The only way is to diligently preach the new covenant and lead them to the kingdom of heaven, where there will never again be war and where only joy abounds,” and “How joyful they could be, even amid suffering, if they were led to Zion—the safe refuge where they can have the hope of heaven!” Father Ahnsahnghong said that what we need in an age of disasters is the Passover. By keeping the Passover, are we not protected from disasters, able to enter heaven, and given the blessing of eternal life? The Bible also tells us that when the age of disasters comes, we must sound the trumpet powerfully and without delay, calling people to Zion (Jer 4:5–6). We must give those who have no hope the strength to press on toward heaven. Father came to this earth at both His first and second comings to give us eternal life through the Passover. He first made the truth known to us and said, “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you” (Jn 13:15). Therefore, we too must diligently preach the gospel without delay.
In this age when the prophesied disasters are coming upon the earth, had Father Ahnsahnghong not come, we too would have perished in disasters without receiving the salvation of our souls. Since Father has filled us with joy, let us bring joy to Father by leading dying souls to repentance. Let us walk toward heaven singing songs of gratitude to God the Father Ahnsahnghong, who came to save us, suffered for us, and saved us from hell. The world languishes and the earth is laid waste because people have broken God’s covenant (Isa 24:1–5, 13). God came to this earth and sacrificed Himself to save people by leading them to keep the everlasting covenant—the Passover of the new covenant. Since He warned that those who reject His word would suffer disaster as a result of following their own thoughts, I believe that diligently helping people keep the new covenant is an act of true love (Zep 1:2–6, 14–18).
Through many prophets, God foretold the unprecedented disasters that would come upon the earth (2 Pe 3:6–7; Eze 7:2–7, 20). When disasters approach, we must warn those who are unaware and tell them where they can take refuge. Even when a thousand fall at one’s side and ten thousand at one’s right hand, disaster cannot come near those who return to Zion and keep the Passover (Ps 91:7–9; Zep 2:1–3; 1 Th 5:1–6). Let us diligently make this precious truth known, inviting everyone to come to Zion, the safe refuge, and live with the hope of heaven. The love contained in the Passover is the only love that can protect people from disasters and lead them to the kingdom of heaven, where they will receive the blessing of eternal life.
The kingdom of heaven is surely drawing near to us. Today we are closer to the beautiful kingdom of heaven than yesterday, and tomorrow we will be closer still. We are truly blessed and happy children. In accordance with the prophecy in the Bible, “Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son” (Isa 66:7–8), Father is swiftly fulfilling the work of the gospel. Therefore, everything will go well if we faithfully obey God’s word. As it is written, “The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins” (1 Pe 4:7–8). Let us not be greedy, but gladly yield the better things to our brothers and sisters. Then all those blessings will return to us. The crown of glory that will never fade away is the blessing God will give us (1 Pe 5:2–4). We receive salvation, the blessing of eternal life, and even a crown—how blessed and happy we are! Let us pray earnestly so that we may enter the kingdom of heaven, and always give thanks to Father Ahnsahnghong, who sacrificed Himself to lead us there.
