Do the Things Abraham Did

These days, people say that the earth becomes uninhabitable due to climate change and wars. The Bible tells us to prepare for the kingdom of heaven when such things occur. To prepare, we must do the things God did. Just as the descendants of Abraham do the things Abraham did, we, the children of God, are told to do the things God did (Jn 8:38–41). Doing what God did and keeping all the words He gave us is doing the things God did. Such people are the ones who truly believe in God and love Him (Jn 14:20–24).

Our Father on the earth showed us the example of sacrifice solely for our salvation. As His children, we must walk the path that God Ahnsahnghong walked. People are now anxious about the news of wars and disasters, as reported by media outlets and scientists. What is needed in the age of disaster is the Passover. Let us save many souls by diligently preaching the Passover to those who are in fear and guiding them to observe it.

As children of God, we should not only preach the gospel but also live, doing good. There is a God’s word, “Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other” (1 Th 5:12–15). Since the Bible said that love is the greatest, we should be harmonious, help, and care for each other. Although this world is wicked, we should always follow what is good.

All things are drawn to warmth, and the same goes for the church. When we preach while fostering harmony with a warm heart of Father, our fruits become good fruits. When our brothers and sisters come to church, let us welcome them warmly with a big smile. Also, let us comfort them with God’s words so that they can receive abundant grace of God. Just as it is said, “For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of,” our love need to be expressed. Encouraging with the words, “You work so hard. Remember, we have the kingdom of heaven waiting for us,” can recharge the faith of our Zion members. We need to practice living beautifully here on earth to enter the kingdom of heaven, where beautiful beings live beautifully.

When our Father was on earth, His words were always warm. He never spoke angrily or harshly even in upsetting situations. He had a mindset of “If I lash out my anger, their souls may die.” Let us follow Father’s example and quickly transform into those who worthy to enter heaven. Let us bear many fruits by treating our members with the same warmth and goodness as the Father did, and by speaking kind, beautiful, and virtuous words (Eph 4:25–29).

When we follow God’s commands with faith, blessings follow us. If we have faith, it is easy to obey difficult things, whereas without faith, it is difficult to obey even easy things. Those who do not realize the value do not take action even in easy things. Those who realize the value of salvation can have faith, and those with faith take action accordingly. When Noah heard about the flood, which seemed unbelievable to others, he believed and built the ark, thus saving himself and his family. Moses chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin on earth because he realized the greatness of the glory in heaven (Heb 11).

“I will do whatever God did,”—this is faith. God came to this earth to preach (Mk 1:35–38) and entrusted His children with the task of proclaiming salvation to humanity. God’s work is solely about preaching. If we are His children, we too should preach, so that Father will be pleased and bless us to receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom. It is our duty to diligently seek our lost brothers and sisters by quickly delivering the Passover bread to dying souls, and lead them to Zion (Mt 24:42–46; Mal 4:1–3; Jer 4:5–6). Since Father told us to preach fervently for our salvation, let us be alert and preach (1 Th 5:1–9). Please bear many fruits that pleases Father, and receive abundant blessings of the Holy Spirit.
