I sincerely thank all the members who have labored tirelessly for the sake of the gospel. May you receive abundant blessings, and may you always be strengthened as you hold firmly to the hope of heaven.
God has given us His word that a man reaps what he sows (Gal 6:7). To the extent that we work, devote ourselves, and make sacrifices for the gospel, blessings are stored up for us in the kingdom of heaven. If we are negligent, the blessings we receive will likewise be fewer. Let us examine ourselves by reflecting on what may be lacking and whether we have truly fulfilled our mission as workers of the gospel. Through sincere self-reflection, let us strive to reach complete and mature faith.
God has taught us that there are rewards in heaven (Rev 22:12). When we serve with the heart that says, “God sacrificed Himself for me, so I too will make sacrifices to repay His grace,” we will surely receive rewards. We do not serve for the sake of reward itself, but when we enter the kingdom of heaven, would it not be good to receive one? Let us take time to examine ourselves, reflecting on how much sacrifice and love we have sown for the gospel. With the determination, “If I am to receive many rewards in heaven, this much at least I must do,” we can discipline ourselves and press forward in faith all the way to the kingdom of heaven. Such faith—one that urges us onward with resolve and self-reflection—is good and commendable. Let us continually examine ourselves and cultivate this kind of faith, so that we may become members who are loved by God Ahnsahnghong.
Becoming sons and daughters of God is truly an extraordinary blessing. God has promised that we will become a royal priesthood in the kingdom of heaven (1 Pe 2:9). For this reason, we must never take lightly what we have received, but hold firmly to it.
“Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial . . . I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it.” Rev 3:10–12
As people of God, we must not only preserve our faith, but also obey every word of God. We are to be humble, reverent, and holy. We must show brotherly love and have compassion for the many souls who are perishing. When brothers and sisters allow discomfort to remain in their hearts and quarrel with one another, such unbecoming behavior takes away time that should be devoted to faithfulness to God. We have been called to reveal God’s glory to many people. If we neglect this calling, it may result in losing what we have been given. Therefore, let us hold firmly to our blessings, live in a manner worthy of sons and daughters of God, and move forward with passion and diligence.
For this reason, Father teaches us that we reap what we sow. When we sow love, we bear abundant fruit as children of love. When we speak good and gracious words, words of grace spread and even negative behaviors among the brothers and sisters can be transformed for the better. By hearing good words and witnessing good deeds, people are moved to follow such examples. Is this not what God is teaching us—that only by holding firmly to every word He has given us can we advance all the way to the eternal kingdom of heaven?
Let us sow love and sow truth, and lead many people with love. When we enter the kingdom of heaven, we will receive rewards of love and rewards of zeal. There are exceedingly many rewards prepared in heaven. Whatever we sow on this earth, we will reap accordingly. Just as we rejoice when we receive rewards on this earth, we will rejoice even more when we receive rewards in heaven. Since God has made this promise, the rewards we receive—or forfeit—depend on what we sow. Therefore, let us not lose our rewards, but receive them abundantly. May you sow much love and much truth, bear abundant good fruit, and receive many rewards from Father in the kingdom of heaven.
Seeing you love one another, help one another, and work together for the gospel is truly beautiful. The fruit of sowing such love will become the reward you receive from Father in heaven. May you continue to sow love diligently and bear abundant fruit of love.
Thank you sincerely. You are deeply loved.
