I received the truth when I was working in pediatrics in Huancayo. One day, one of my co-workers whom I was close to was reading a small book between shifts. When I asked her what book she was reading, she started telling me about God the Mother, who existed before the creation of the world. She said that when God created Eve, He did not create her arbitrarily without much thought, but He created her in the image of a woman, that is, in the image of God the Mother. My friend’s explanation was clear, and I certainly felt that the existence of God the Mother is true. It was as if an echo resounded from deep within my heart: “It is true that God the Mother exists.” It occurred to me that the endless love an earthly mother gives to her children must originate from the love of God the Mother. Many questions about God filled my mind, and I wanted to know more about the truth as quickly as possible.
Afterwards, on my days off, I went to the Church of God to study about Second Coming Christ and God the Mother. Although I hesitated in the unfamiliar atmosphere, the members welcomed me with warm smiles and hugs as if we had known each other for a long time. In this way, I began to study the Bible, and the more I learned the words of the Bible, the sweeter and more profound it became. I was amazed at the exact fulfillment of all the prophecies about the date, place, and appearance of Second Coming Christ. I was both happy and sad to know who Second Coming Christ is through the words of truth that can only be given by God. I was happy because the ability to recognize the true God who came to this earth in the flesh is a true privilege given only to a few people. I was also filled with sorrow, knowing that He came a second time in the flesh and walked the path of sacrifice. The Passover, which Christ established through His sacrifice for the sinners from heaven, deeply moved my heart. I decided to get baptized that day because only God can forgive all of our sins.
On the day of my baptism, brothers and sisters from Korea were sharing fragrance of Zion after the worship service. I felt greatly blessed by Mother’s warm touch, dazzling brilliance, the warm love from the brothers and sisters, and the fragrance of Zion which contains the realizations of each member. From an early age, I was separated from my parents and siblings and raised by my grandparents. My mom, who longed for me because she was unable to take care of me when I was young, often said, “It hurts my heart that I couldn’t be with you.” Perhaps that was why I was even more heartbroken to learn that God the Mother Herself walked the path of sacrifice to bring back Her children, who are Her everything. I was greatly moved by Heavenly Mother’s great love and endless waiting for each of us.
However, when the people around me found out that I was attending the Church of God, they had a negative perception of my religious life and broke my heart with misunderstandings and prejudiced comments. Despite their reaction, I saw that all the prophecies written thousands of years ago were completely fulfilled. How can we deny this? God’s words played an important role in strengthening my true faith, even in the midst of such difficulties.
I had believed in God for a long time, being baptized in the Catholic Church, and I even wanted to become a catechist. I had waited for the day of God’s second coming, believing that the day would be the end of the age and that Judgment would immediately follow. However, I did not feel comfortable when I saw many idols being placed all throughout the church, and these images made me feel depressed. I visited many different denominations of Christian churches, but I was not convinced of their teachings. It is different now, because I have come to know the true church that uses the Bible as its standard. I have found the church that is testified in the prophecies of the Bible, and my heart is filled with overwhelming excitement and happiness.
Most people only know the existence of one God, God the Father; however, God created all things so that we can realize the mysteries of heaven when we look at their principles. When we look at life, all living creatures have a father and a mother who gave birth to them. Since all these things are a copy and shadow of the things in heaven, isn’t it natural that God exists as God the Father and God the Mother? Just as many people believe in God the Father as their Savior, I firmly believe that God the Mother, whom the Bible testifies about, also gives us eternal life. All of this can be confirmed through the Bible.
I would like to say that the Church of God is the best place for you to be. If you begin to study the truth more often, you will surely know who the Savior is in this age. Additionally, you will be able to discern the spiritual life we should all lead. The Bible says that the path that leads us to heaven is not easy and broad, but small and narrow.
