In the Bible, there is not only God the Father but also God the Mother. When God created mankind, He said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness” (Ge 1:26). If God were the only God the Father, He would have said, “Let me make man in my image, in my likeness.” However, since He said “us,” we can clearly see that there is not only God the Father.
If then, why did God say “us” and “our”? According to the following verse, God created mankind in the image of God, male and female (Ge 1:27). This means that God exists in male image and in female image. In other words, God the Father and God the Mother created mankind together.
