Live in Peace Through Love

Witnessing the recent accidents and tragedies, my heart was deeply pained. I felt a profound sense of regret and repentance for not having led even one more soul to Zion sooner. It made me realize that so many people are suffering because we have not reached them in time. Though more disasters may come, it is our mission as God’s people to urgently and passionately proclaim that all must flee to Zion without delay (Jer 4:5–6).

Nothing in this world is perfect. People are flawed, and life is full of uncertainty and danger, which leads to unforeseen accidents. Until we arrive in the perfect kingdom of heaven, we must remain spiritually alert and awaken the world with the words of life. True love is guiding even one soul to Zion, the place where God dwells. Let us wholeheartedly commit our hearts, minds, and strength to sharing the new covenant and diligently leading many souls to Zion, so that not only we, but others too, may rejoice in entering the eternal kingdom of heaven.

The world is in turmoil due to a lack of unity and harmony, but Zion remains the one place where true peace dwells. The Church of God has spread across the globe and the gospel has flourished. I believe this is because our members have faithfully followed God’s teachings—to love and care for one another—and have stayed united in harmony. Thank you for all your hard work, carried out with hearts full of love. This love comes from God. As God’s children, you have supported one another without drawing lines between “mine” and “yours.” Through that unity, countless churches and prophets have been established throughout the world.

Our Father taught us, “Hold them in the highest regard in love and live in peace with each other” (1 Th 5:9–13). Where there is no harmony, conflict and division arise. But where harmony exists, people support one another and everything flows more smoothly. Two are better than one, and three are better than two. This is why Father emphasized practicing harmony as the key to gospel success. As we walk together in unity, we must also continue to seek God. We need to pray constantly so that our joy is not taken away (1 Th 5:16–17). When we pray, God helps us and blesses our efforts. And let us not forget to give thanks (1 Th 5:18) for this is God’s will, and living according to His will brings abundant blessings.

God also instructed us, “Make every effort to add to your faith goodness, to goodness knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness mutual affection, and to mutual affection love” (2 Pe 1:3–11). Let us strive to live according to these words. Though God is the highest of all beings and could have commanded us from on high, He humbled Himself like a servant to save humanity—stooping down, bowing His head, and serving His children (Php 2:2–8). It is written, “Whoever humbles himself will be exalted” (Lk 18:14). It is more than okay to be honored in heaven—but if we become proud from being exalted here on earth, we may stumble. However, if we live with humility and a heart to serve now, we will endure and be lifted up forever in the eternal kingdom of heaven.

God has clearly shown us, in detail, how to become great in the kingdom of heaven. So, let us always treat our brothers and sisters with a heart of service. Let us lead people to Zion, where they can be protected from disasters and accidents and find the way to eternal life. May you become true children of Zion, doing all that pleases our Father and hastening the day we enter the eternal kingdom of heaven.
