God’s children live by God’s word. The Bible, which is God’s word, continually guides us in righteousness and offers wisdom for a blessed life. To put on our new selves and live a life worthy of a human being, we must follow the teachings of the Bible.
People in the world, who neither learn from nor live according to God’s word, often engage in reckless, immoral, and unloving behavior. As a result, everything they have built up over a lifetime can collapse in an instan. If we do not devote ourselves to studying God’s word, worldly thoughts can take hold of us. Therefore, God instructs us to immerse ourselves in His word and train ourselves to be godly (1 Ti 4:6–13). We must read, listen to, and practice God’s word, which guides us toward godliness and righteous living. By doing so, we receive God’s love, salvation, and blessings, and ultimately go to the kingdom of heaven.
Let us put on our new selves through God’s word and prepare ourselves to enter the kingdom of heaven. Before meeting God Ahnsahnghong, you may have lived a rough life with worldly friends and walked the same path as corrupt people. However, now that you have become God’s people, you must no longer do so. “In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,” “Refrain from harsh words, negative speech, and arguments. Instead, speak gracious words that are like a honeycomb, healing to the bones, and express gratitude,” “Be kind and forgive one another,” “Do not get drunk. Instead, be filled with the Spirit” (Eph 4:17–32; 5:3–4, 16–18; Pr 16:24; 2 Ti 2:14–17). All these are teachings given to the children whom Heavenly Father chose before the creation of the world. As you correct yourselves by following these teachings one by one, you can be reborn. In order to enter the kingdom of heaven, you must be reborn (Jn 3:3). To enter heaven, you must also keep God’s law. The Bible teaches that the entire law can be fulfilled when you become one through love (Gal 5:14). When you love, you do not commit evil or sin. In a world where love has grown cold, God brings together those who used to know only themselves through His love, unite them, and lead them to heaven.
The world is suffering from wars and climate disasters. Father taught us to diligently proclaim the New Covenant Passover in times like these, as it grants eternal life and protection from disaster, urging us not to delay in guiding people to Zion (Jer 4:5–6). Before disaster strikes, we must lead those who do not know the day or hour of their death to salvation. Since God’s flesh and blood are in you through the Passover, when you see a dying person, you probably feel sorry toward them and want to save them. It is because the love of God, who took pity on us and died on our behalf to save us, is working within us.
There is no love more sincere than the love exemplified by the Passover, which teaches us the way to eternal life and the kingdom of heaven. To embody this love, we need to practice patience and adhere to the teachings in 1 Corinthians 13. We must be gentle and avoid envy, boasting, arrogance, and rudeness. Both failing to greet someone and not responding to a greeting are considered rude behaviors. While a child might be excused for not greeting others, adults who fail to do so are often criticized for not being properly raised. As we mature, we must put childish ways behind us. We should not seek our own good, but others’. We should not delight in evil or rejoice in others’ misfortunes, but instead show compassion and pray for them. Even when someone angers us, we need to practice patience. The greatest of all is love. We should constantly ask ourselves, “How can I bring joy to this soul and help strengthen their faith?” “What can I say to offer comfort?” “How can I guide them to salvation?” In all things, our focus should be on the good of others.
The glory of God is displayed as the family members of Zion are united in love and carry out good deeds around the world. Your good and righteous acts become God’s beautiful robes (Rev 19:7–8). These acts will guide people one by one to the right path, bringing peace and love to the world and saving many souls. I hope you will become the fine linen of God through your beautiful deeds, bringing much glory to Him. Please diligently teach the Passover of the new covenant, guiding many people to be reborn into their new selves and leading them to the kingdom of heaven.
