Without Faith It Is Impossible to Please God

Thank you so much for all your hard work—offering prayers morning and evening and diligently preaching the gospel. It seems that the enthusiasm for preaching is tremendous all around the world, with everyone united in heart. After all, nothing brings us greater joy than finding our heavenly family. The stories about finding our heavenly family are so beautiful and sweet.

Preaching is such a joyful and wonderful work. We are happy because we can save a soul, and we also share so much laughter and joy along the way. When we save one soul, it is not only that soul who is saved. We ourselves are also saved, and when we enter the kingdom of heaven, we will receive a reward from Father. He said, “My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done” (Rev 22:12). Let us give thanks to Father, who has saved us from eternal death, leads us to the kingdom of heaven, and allows us to enter into the glory of traveling throughout the universe and seeing the worlds of the stars.

The Bible says, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him” (Heb 11:6). Through many prophets of faith, God has shown us that when we act according to our faith, we can witness miracles. Noah, Abraham, Moses, Daniel and his three friends . . . They did not witness miracles because they were somehow different from us. They simply acted according to their faith. They believed that if they followed the will of God, God would protect them, and they believed that things would happen according to their faith. If we have faith, we too can witness such miracles. That is why we need to have strong faith. And faith must be put into action. There is a difference between simply knowing something and actually doing it. We believe that our God is the Creator. Then, wouldn’t following the word of God be what truly pleases Him?

There is something especially important when it comes to being faithful to God: If you believe, put it into practice. Father taught us that we should understand that putting our faith into practice is what guides our whole being. The apostle Paul wrote, “A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life” (Gal 6:7–8). When thoughts of the flesh arise within us, they can lead us to disobey the word of God. This is what God greatly dislikes. He said that because those who are lukewarm are neither hot nor cold, He will spit them out of His mouth (Rev 3:16). So let us stay alert and awake. Let us believe that the word of God gives us eternal life, and faithfully keep His word.

We are now in the age of the Festival of Tabernacles. The Bible prophesies that disasters will come upon those who do not come to keep the Festival of Tabernacles (Zec 14:12–13, 16–19; Zep 1:2–3, 14–17). Therefore, the Holy Spirit Movement of the Festival of Tabernacles must continue. We should sound the trumpet of salvation, saying, “Come to Zion, believe in God, keep His festivals, and receive life,” and find all our heavenly family members who have been lost from the kingdom of heaven (Joel 2:1–2). Let us believe that God gives us the Holy Spirit at the Festival of Tabernacles. When we preach with the conviction that we have received the Holy Spirit, we will bear fruit. We should firmly believe that when we take part in the Holy Spirit Movement of the Festival of Tabernacles, we will surely experience the miracle of bearing fruit.

We cannot receive eternal life unless we keep the everlasting covenant—the new covenant Passover. Yet there are people who do not keep it simply because they do not know about it, so we need to tell them (Isa 24:1–5; Lk 22:19–20; Ro 10:13–15). If they cannot be saved because they have not heard the word, we also bear responsibility for not preaching it to them. We must sound the trumpet clearly so that those who hear it can clearly understand, believe, and put the word into practice (1 Co 14:8–9). Let us earnestly preach, “Come to Zion, be spared from the disasters, and receive eternal life.”

God is most pleased when many souls who are perishing are led to repentance and salvation. We need faith to please God, and it is faith that moves us to diligently sound the trumpet of the gospel. Let us sound the trumpet of salvation clearly, telling everyone to come to Zion, the ark of salvation, so that they may be spared from the disasters and receive eternal life. I hope you will continue to bear much good fruit that pleases God until the day you enter the kingdom of heaven, and receive the Holy Spirit in abundance.
