In the Bible, there is a prophecy that the water of life will flow out from Jerusalem to all the seas in all seasons.<\/p>\n

\nOn that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.\nZec 14:8<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jerusalem, situated in Palestine, is a city encompassed by valleys, and its elevated position poses challenges for securing a natural water supply. Moreover, it experiences relatively low annual precipitation, compared with other regions worldwide. Even when we contemplate the spiritual significance of the water of life, it becomes challenging to comprehend the Bible prophecy that designates the conflicted city of Jerusalem as the continual source from which this life-giving water flows, especially considering the current unrest in the region. Let us take a look at where Jerusalem is, the place of salvation where the water of life flows, and the true meaning of Bible prophecy. <\/p>\n

God Gives Us the Water of Life<\/h2>\n

In the Bible, the spiritual water of life represents both the word of God, essential for the life of the soul, and the Holy Spirit, bestowed upon the saints through the words of truth (Am 8:11\u201312; Jn 7:37\u201339). Just as water is essential for sustaining life, the water of life is essential for spiritual life. The Bible says that only the Savior gives the water of life in each age.<\/p>\n

In the Age of the Father, God Jehovah gave the water of life.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cMy people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.\u201d\nJer 2:13<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In the Age of the Father, only those who believed in Jehovah could receive the water of life. In the Age of the Son, Jesus, the Savior, gave the water of life.<\/p>\n

\nOn the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, \u201cLet anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.\u201d\nJn 7:37\u201338<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nJesus answered her, \u201cIf you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water. . . . but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.\u201d\nJn 4:10\u201314<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In the Age of the Son, only those who received Jesus, the Savior, could receive the water of life. That is why Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, \u201cIf you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Spirit and the Bride Giving Us the Water of Life<\/h2>\n

The Bible prophesies that in the last Age of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit and the Bride will give the water of life.<\/p>\n

\nThe Spirit and the bride say, \u201cCome!\u201d And let the one who hears say, \u201cCome!\u201d Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.\nRev 22:17<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In the Age of the Father and of the Son, those who correctly recognized and believed in the Savior received the water of life. Likewise, in the Age of the Holy Spirit, only those who recognize the Spirit and the Bride and believe in Them can receive the water of life. According to the Trinity<\/a>, the Holy Spirit in Revelation 22 is God the Father. Then, who is the Bride that gives the water of life together with the Holy Spirit?<\/p>\n

\nOne of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, \u201cCome, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.\u201d . . . and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.\nRev 21:9\u201310<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The angel said that he would show John the Bride, and showed him Jerusalem coming down out of heaven. In other words, the Bride who gives the water of life in Revelation 22 is represented as Jerusalem. These words are consistent with the prophecy in the book of Zechariah, which testifies that the water of life will flow from Jerusalem in the future. Once we know who the Bride is, who appears with the Holy Spirit, God the Father, granting the water of life, we can understand the true meaning of the prophecy that points to Jerusalem as the source of the water of life.<\/p>\n

The Meaning of the Prophecy, \u201cThe Water of Life Flows Out From Jerusalem\u201d<\/h2>\n

Apostle Paul wrote who the heavenly Jerusalem represents.<\/p>\n

\nBut the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.\nGal 4:26<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He testified that Jerusalem above is \u201cour Mother.\u201d \u201cOur,\u201d here, refers to the saints who will be saved. While Jesus called God \u201cour Father\u201d and taught us about God the Father, Apostle Paul, who followed Jesus\u2019 teachings, wrote \u201cour Mother,\u201d revealing that there is a spiritual Mother of the saints in heaven, that is, God the Mother.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the \u201cWife of the Lamb\u201d represented as Heavenly Jerusalem in Revelation 21, and the \u201cBride\u201d in Revelation 22 indicate God the Mother. In the last days, God the Father, the Holy Spirit, appears together with God the Mother and gives us the water of life. As we have confirmed in the beginning, the prophecy, \u201cOn that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem,\u201d is about Heavenly Mother Jerusalem who will be the source of the water of life in the last days.<\/p>\n

\nOn that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.\nZec 14:8<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This prophecy is not about the physical Jerusalem in Palestine. This is a prophecy that Heavenly Mother Jerusalem will give us the water of life all year round without rest in the last days. The prophet Ezekiel also prophesied about the water of life given by God the Mother as follows:<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThe man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar. He then brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and the water was trickling from the south side. As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits[a] and then led me through water that was ankle-deep. He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist. He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in\u2014a river that no one could cross.\u201d\nEze 47:1\u20135<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The temple mentioned here is the Temple of Jerusalem. The water of life flowed from the temple in Jerusalem, and at first it was ankle-deep, but as it flowed further, it rose to the knees and waist, and eventually became a river that no one could cross. This was a prophecy about the power of the water of life flowing from God the Mother, who is the reality of Jerusalem. The word of the water of life, which began from Heavenly Jerusalem, spreads throughout the world, reviving the world.<\/p>\n

Jerusalem, the Source of the Water of Life, Is God the Mother Who Gives Eternal Life<\/h2>\n

\nHe said to me, \u201cThis water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, where it enters the Dead Sea. When it empties into the sea, the salty water there becomes fresh. Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live. . . . Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.\u201d\nEze 47:8\u20139, 12<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible says that wherever the water of life flows, the sea becomes fresh and every living creature becomes alive. In the Bible, the sea represents all mankind of the world (Rev 17:15). Heavenly Mother\u2019s water of life has amazing power to give eternal life to mankind. It is also said that the leaves of the trees that are grown with the water of life can also be used as medicines to save souls. The prophecy of Ezekiel is also seen in the book of Revelation.<\/p>\n

\nThen the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.\nRev 22:1\u20132<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The throne from which the water of life flows is Jerusalem (Jer 3:17). Just like the prophecy of Ezekiel, it is also prophesied in the book of Revelation that the trees of life will bear twelve crops of fruit every month on the banks of the river of the water of life, and that their leaves will heal the nations. Then, what kind of glory will be given to those who receive the water of life?<\/p>\n

\nThere will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.\nRev 22:5<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cThey,\u201d here, refers to the saints who receive the water of life from Heavenly Jerusalem Mother. They will receive the water of life and reign in heaven forever and ever.<\/p>\n

As we have seen in the Bible, Jerusalem, the source of the water of life, represents God the Mother, and those who receive the water of life from God the Mother will be blessed with the eternal kingdom of heaven. On the contrary, the Bible warns that people cannot receive eternal life, salvation, glory, and blessings of heaven unless they receive the water of life from Heavenly Mother in the last days.
