This is entirely a fictional imagination; two thousand years ago, there is no record in the Bible indicating that Jesus had an actual wife. The mention of Jesus\u2019s wife can be found in the prophecies of the book of Revelation.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cLet us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear. (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God\u2019s holy people.) Then the angel said to me, \u201dWrite this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!\u201d And he added, \u201cThese are the true words of God.\u201d\nRev 19: 7\u20139<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The prophecy speaks of the future event of the wedding banquet of the Lamb, where the bride, alongside the Lamb who is the bridegroom, makes her appearance. In the Bible, the term \u201cLamb\u201d carries various meanings: a young sheep, God\u2019s holy people, or Jesus (Ex 12:21; Jn 21:15; 1:29). Among these three meanings, the Lamb in the heavenly wedding banquet refers to Jesus; since He has His wife, He is Second Coming Jesus. In that case, who is the wife of Second Coming Jesus, showing up together with Him? In order to be blessed and invited to the wedding banquet of the Lamb, it is imperative to accurately discern not only the bridegroom, who is Second Coming Jesus, but also the bride, namely, the wife of Jesus.<\/p>\n
Who Does the Wife of Jesus Refer To?<\/h2>\n
Some people say that the wife of Jesus mentioned in the book of Revelation refers to the church or God\u2019s people. Because in the Bible, God\u2019s people are metaphorically stated as the wife of Christ.<\/p>\n
\nWives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, . . . Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.\nEph 5: 22\u201325<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\nI am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him.\n2 Co 11:2<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Apostle Paul likened the relationship between Christ and the church (God\u2019s people) to that of a husband and wife. In creating Eve from Adam\u2019s rib and binding them as one, God intended to illustrate the love between Christ and His people (1 Co 6:16\u201317).<\/p>\n
However, just as one cannot claim that the Lamb in the wedding banquet is God\u2019s people based on the verse that compares them to a lamb, it is not definitive to categorize the wife of Christ prophesied in the book of Revelation as exclusively the church or God\u2019s people because of the above mentioned verses.<\/p>\n
In the book of Revelation, the Lamb\u2019s wife, as the bride in the heavenly wedding banquet, invites guests. This is different from the guests who receive the invitation. The guests at the heavenly wedding are God\u2019s people. In a parable Jesus told about a wedding banquet, He didn\u2019t say God\u2019s people were the bride, but rather guests. He also compared His disciples to guests at a wedding (Mt 22:1\u20134; Mk 2:19\u201320). If the bride, Jesus\u2019 wife, in the book of Revelation represents God\u2019s people, there is no way to explain who the guests mentioned as \u201cthose invited\u201d are.<\/p>\n
Therefore, the guests are God\u2019s people who participate in the heavenly wedding banquet, receiving blessings; and the wife of Jesus, the bride, is the Savior who invites those people to grant blessings.<\/p>\n
The Wife of Jesus Prophesied in the Bible Is God the Mother<\/h2>\n
John recorded the following about the future appearance of the wife of Jesus<\/i>.<\/p>\n
\nOne of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, \u201cCome, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.\u201d And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.\nRev 21:9\u201310<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The angel who promised to show John the bride, the wife of the Lamb, revealed the heavenly Jerusalem descending from the heaven. However, in the book of Galatians, it is written that the heavenly Jerusalem is not the people of God but their mother.<\/p>\n
\nBut the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. \nGal 4:26<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\u201cOur\u201d here refers to God\u2019s people who will be saved, and the heavenly Jerusalem is testified as their \u201cmother.\u201d Christ\u2019s wife, the bride, is none other than God the Mother. Then, who is Second Coming Christ, the Lamb who has God the Mother as His bride? The One who has God the Mother as His wife is none other than God the Father. In the last days, God the Father, who is Second Coming Jesus, and God the Mother as His bride, will appear and invite God\u2019s people to the heavenly wedding banquet.<\/p>\n
The Appearance of God the Mother<\/h2>\n
Purpose<\/h3>\n
Being invited to the heavenly wedding banquet and attending it symbolizes God\u2019s people, as the guests, receiving eternal life and entering heaven. That event commences with the arrival of the Lamb and His wife. Consequently, the book of Revelation, which describes the preparation of the Lamb’s wife and the establishment of the wedding ceremony, is a prophecy symbolizing the appearance of God the Mother, the wife of Jesus, to bestow eternal life.<\/p>\n
God foretold these events through Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Adam serves as a shadow of the one to come, so Adam and Eve represent God the Father and God the Mother (Ro 5:14). The reason Eve has the name meaning life<\/i> and is called the \u201cmother of all the living\u201d is also because eternal life is given through God the Mother, who is represented by Eve.<\/p>\n
\nAdam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.\nGe 3:20<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Apostle John also prophesied the appearance of God the Father and God the Mother, who give the blessings of eternal life upon the people of God. He depicted it as a scene where the Spirit and the Bride give the water of life.<\/p>\n
\nThe Spirit and the bride say, \u201cCome!\u201d And let the one who hears say, \u201cCome!\u201d Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.\nRev 22:17<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The authority to give the water of life belongs solely to God, who is the Savior (Jer 2:13; Jn 4:13\u201314). The Spirit is the Savior (Heavenly Father) who is the same with the Son and the Father. Likewise, the Bride who gives us the water of life is the Savior (Heavenly Mother), not the church or God\u2019s people. When the time comes, God the Father, who is the Spirit, and God the Mother, who is the Bride, will appear. They will revive humanity, spiritually dying of thirst, with the water of life.<\/p>\n
Time<\/h3>\n
God has prophesied the timing of the appearance of God the Mother from the very beginning. If we look at the history of the six days of Creation, Eve, who represents God the Mother, appeared on the sixth and final day. When we consider the Sabbath on the seventh day after the six days of creation or reflect on the Sabbath year in the seven-year cycle, the seventh day of rest after the sixth day of creation represents the eternal rest following God\u2019s redemption work. Eve, being created just before the Sabbath, shows that God the Mother, represented by Eve, will appear in the age just before the coming of eternal rest in heaven.<\/p>\n
Testimony<\/h3>\n
The Second Coming Christ, who is God the Father, comes to this earth in accordance with the prophecies in the Bible, just as He did two thousand years ago. The purpose of His second coming includes a mission to testify about God the Mother (Mal 4:5).<\/p>\n
\nI have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.\nIsa 62:6\u20137<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The Jerusalem, who will be the praise of the earth, indicates God the Mother. The establishment of Jerusalem by the LORD means God the Father testifying about God the Mother. The one who receives testimony of Second Coming Christ, the Lamb, is the wife of the Lamb, which is the bride. Similarly, in ancient times, Adam personally testified about his wife, Eve.<\/p>\n
\nThen the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, \u201cThis is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh;\u201d\nGe 2:22\u201323<\/small>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Adam, speaking about his wife, declared, \u201cThis is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh,\u201d and bestowed upon her the name \u201cEve,\u201d which means life.
